Mary Quite Contrary has been teaching the art of tease for nine years.
Through private lessons, her wildly popular BURLESQUERCIZE classes, and eight Striptease Academies in the Quad Cities. She’s helped countless students and performers find their confidence, and shimmy the nights away.
Now, to celebrate her ninth year of teaching burlesque within and beyond our community, Mary is producing a very special reunion show! Having taught the vast majority of performers in the Quad Cities alongside some truly incredible people Mary is honoring her legacy by inviting the burlesque illuminati back to the stage for an event unlike anything you’ve seen before.
For one night only, performers from across the QC and across all nine years of the Striptease Academy will share the historic Spotlight Theatre stage for a truly unforgettable spectacular!
